Essential Qualifications

• STA/ASA Level 2 Swimming Teachers Certificate/Award
• STA/IOS Current Membership
• RLSS NPLQ, RLSS NRASTC or STA Pool Safety Award for Teachers
• Current Safeguarding Certificate

Desirable Qualifications

• STA Baby and Pre-School would be advantageous but is not essential

Experience

Candidates should be able to offer a minimum of 1 years teaching in children’s and adult group and 1-2-1 lessons.

You should also have a working knowledge of the STA’s International Learn to Swim Programme.

Candidates must have excellent inter-personal skills and above all be passionate about working with people in a customer focused environment.

About the role

22.5 Hours per week: Tuesday 2.30 – 9.00pm, Thursday 2.30 – 9.00pm, Friday 2.30-7.00pm and Sunday 8.30am – 3.00pm

Please note all successful candidates will be required to undergo an Access NI Enhanced Disclosure and provide two referees.

6 weeks holiday per year: Christmas 2 weeks, Easter 2 weeks and 2 weeks in summer.
